Fed Together

A little encouragement

We're Christians, and these words from the Bible have carried us through long nights. We share them here for any mom who could use them. Whether or not you share our faith, you're welcome here. Take what helps.

"He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young."

Isaiah 40:11 (ESV)

You're carrying a lot. You're allowed to be carried too.

Read it at esv.org/Isaiah+40:11/

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28 (ESV)

Rest is not something you have to earn.

Read it at esv.org/Matthew+11:28/

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Lamentations 3:22–23 (ESV)

Last night is over. This morning is new, even if it started at 3 AM.

Read it at esv.org/Lamentations+3:22-23/

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Psalm 46:1 (ESV)

Help is near. Sometimes it looks like a friend, a nurse or a phone number. That counts too.

Read it at esv.org/Psalm+46:1/

"As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem."

Isaiah 66:13 (ESV)

You comfort your baby all day and all night. You're held with that same tenderness.
