Fed Together

Privacy policy

For the Fed Together app for iPhone and the fedtogether.com website. Effective date: October 18, 2026

Summary

What you log stays on your iPhone. There's no account, and we never see it.

The app has no analytics, no ads and no third-party code libraries. This website sets no cookies and has no analytics, trackers or forms.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app doesn't collect any data about you, and there's no account to sign up for. Its privacy manifest declares no tracking and no data collected, and its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your device

Everything you log stays on your iPhone. We never see it, and there's no server of ours that receives it. Your data is included in your iPhone's own backups if you have them turned on.

iPhone features the app asks to use

The app asks before it uses any of these, and each one can be turned off in your iPhone's Settings.

  • Apple Health (optional). If you turn it on, the app reads your steps, active calories, workouts and weight so your daily calorie budget and Progress charts reflect how active you've been. It saves the food, water, caffeine and weigh-ins you log to Health. That information moves between the app and Apple Health on your iPhone only. We never receive it, and it's never used for advertising.
  • Camera. Used only to scan barcodes on packaged food. Nothing is recorded or saved.
  • Reminders. Used only when you send your grocery list to Reminders. The app adds the items to a Groceries list there.
  • Notifications. Reminders you choose, such as water, vitamins, appointments, the weekly weigh-in and the baby check-in, are scheduled on your iPhone. They don't go through any server.

When the app goes online

Only when you ask it to, and never with anything you've logged.

  • Barcode scan. Scanning a barcode sends only the barcode number to Open Food Facts, a free public food database run by a separate organization, to look up the label. Its own privacy policy applies to that lookup.
  • Recipe import. Importing a recipe fetches only the web page you pasted, the way a browser would.

Neither one sends anything you've logged.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, and we don't see who paid.

Children's privacy

Fed Together isn't directed at children under 13. The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

The website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no ads and no forms.
  • No outside videos, maps, social feeds or fonts load from other companies. Everything comes from our own site.
  • We don't track which help resources you open. Links go straight to each service, with no tracking codes.
  • When you tap a phone number or a link, you're leaving our site, and that service's own privacy rules apply.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs, like your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the site safe. We don't use them to track you.
